Note: This meeting will be conducted in accordance with the Oklahoma Open Meeting Act Article II, O.S.L. The Board may discuss, make motions, vote to approve, vote to not approve, vote to table, or decide not to discuss any item on this agenda.
1. Call to order and roll call recording of members present and absent.
2. Invocation and the salute to the flag.
3. Adoption of the agenda.
4. Vote to approve the minutes of the January 11, 2010, regular board meeting.
5. Recognition of guests.
6. Concerned parent, Colleen Cole, of Buffalo Valley to comment on dismissal of personnel.
7. Superintendent’s Report: Principal’s Report:
8. Vote to approve the activity fund report.
9. Vote to approve General Fund P.O. # 150-155, General Fund Warrants # 607-690, Child Nutrition Warrants # 35-41, and Child Nutrition P.O. # 13.
10. Vote to approve Supplemental Allocation of Title IID, Part D Enhancing Education through Technology
11. Vote on adopting school calendar for the 2010-2011 school year.
12. Proposed executive session pursuant to 25 O.S. Section 307 (B) (1) of the Open Meeting Act to discuss the employment of Lyndon Howze, High School Principal and Debra Bray-Patton, Elementary School Principal so that the board can vote on these items upon return to open session.
13. Vote to convene or not to convene into executive session.
14. Vote to acknowledge the Board’s return to open session.
15. Executive Session Minutes Compliance Announcement.
16. Vote on the employment of Lyndon Howze as High School Principal for 2010-2011.
17. Vote on the employment of Debra Bray-Patton as Elementary Principal for 2010-2011.
18. Vote on any resignations received.
19. New Business: “New Business”, as used herein, shall mean any matter not known about or which could not be reasonably foreseen prior to the time of posting the agenda.
20. Adjourn.
