Whatever It Takes
Believe
We are on the final stretch of the 2007-2008 school year. Don't take chances with your grades or credits needed to graduate. This also works with your attendance as well. Your attendance as well as your grades determine if you pass or fail a class for 9-12 students. If you fail a core class or even an elective class those credits have to be made up in order to stay on track to graduate from High School. This is your responsibility as a student and fall's on your shoulder's. The HS faculty members, your teacher's or myself can only take you so far, it is up to you to get the job done. Remember that nothing ever comes easy without hard work, dedication, sacrifice and doing what it takes to be successful not just in the classroom, but in all activities and most important LIFE. Each day, we all should strive to be the best we can be, not perfect but work to over come the pit falls of life. Continue to believe and with hard work, and learning from failure, good things will happen. NEVER LOSE SITE OF DREAMS for DREAMS make the road of life easier for all of us. Nothing worth achieving or winning comes without hard work and dedication so "Play Until The Whistle Blows", knowing you did your very best.
Just Something to Think About:
If Only I Knew
If only I knew that everything depends upon what you believe, and that ignorance is no excuse, I would have been more vigilant to put truth into my heart. If only I knew that real happiness is a state of mind and the there's no substitute for a good attitude, I would have been more thankful for what I had and the chance to live and work and to love.
Now that we are approaching the end of the 2007-2008 school year all my 9th, 10th and 11th grade students need to think about the future in reference to graduation. You also need to make sure that you focus on what you need to pass the EOI test which are required by the state in English II and III, Algebra I, Algebra II Geometry, Biology I and U.S. History which will be given April 116th-24th. These test will determine along with your grades the status of graduation so take each test that you will be taking serious. It is vital to remember that it makes no difference how good your grades are if you miss school more then the required time during a semester and tardies factor in as well, you fail for that semester for that class or classes. That means you have to play catch-up and in most cases double up on classes you should have passed in the first place. By the time you get to your senior year you should be on the down side if you passed everything your freshman, sophomore and Junior year's. Don't think that you can wait, time is to short if you expect to graduate. Remember...........Attendance and Grades are the key. Don't over look either!
Attitude determines Success or Failure
SO
GET HOOKED UP
Be the best you can be and never sell out, sell yourself short or lose sight of your dreams.
